Crosspointe Community Church Wisdom Book Blog

Welcome to the Crosspoint Community Church Vision 2010 Book Blog. We are going to post a list in a few weeks of books that have really challenged us in our pursuit of Christ. We believe that God has called us to pursue wisdom in an active way. Chistianity is an active relationship with Christ in which we, as His people, must seek him with all our heart, MIND, and soul.

We will begin in the month of April by taking a look at a classic work by C. S. Lewis titled Mere Christianity. This work can be a difficult read which is why I wanted to start with it. It is also by far one of the most influential books dealing with the core basics of Christianity. Regardless of Denominational background, the common threads that tie us all together into the family of God as believers in Jesus Christ can be found within this book.

At times this book will be genuinely challenging. All I ask is that in times in which the book gets rough come and post and as one Body we will seek to tackle the tough concepts throughout this book. Also we will be going though a variety of different books so check back often. Come join us on this journey to seek true wisdom and gain insight into the unbelievable Creator.
